Finally in a clearing stood the Four Wind Casino and Hotel. After driving for awhile on the long curvy entrance road doubts started filling my mind, did I take a wrong turn? I decided to relax and enjoy the beauty of the dense woods. I almost missed the modest entry sign indicating the left turn into the casino. I could have stayed there all day! My friend had a great time in the casino and some luck on the slots! And I enjoyed a wonderful, relaxing evening! I would definitely go back! It was so relaxing! The pool does close early though - at 6pm - that would be my only complaint. The pool area is amazing! Brand new with beautiful seating and outdoor fireplaces.
Go hungry! There is a Hard Rock cafe with an outdoor patio that leads to the new pool. We had a jetted tub that was huge! I am 5'8' and I could put my legs down and fully soak! Actually I slid a little so you could be taller and still fit! The buffet was plentiful, so many options I had a hard time choosing! A little pricey, but I have been told that it is an average price for what you got.
The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. My friend had plans to go to the Four Winds and at the last minute her husband couldn't go, so I got to go with! What a wonderful surprise! The hotel is beautiful and very clean. I have been to Vegas a couple of times and never dropped as much as a quarter in a machine. Let me start by saying that I am not a gambler.
